Jan 24, 2010 Mud

Just outside my backdoor is this slopping mess of mud. Puppy does pretty good on keeping the underside of her belly free of mud, but paws are always muddy and wet when she comes in. She also enjoys sitting in the rain. Go figure.

Jan 22, 2010 Broccoli

Yes. My garden, despite winter, cold, freezing and all other weather conditions, my garden has yielded fresh broccoli sprouts. My rabbits thank the dirt and those super broccoli seeds.

Jan 21, 2010 Lake Erie

Traveled all the way to Cleveland and this was the closest I got to Lake Erie. *sigh* Jon refused to stop. I couldn't believe the ice caps and the fact that people swim in this lake during the summer. It has to be cold year round, right?

Jan 20, 2010 Pooltime!

We traveled to Cleveland, Ohio January 18th through the 21st. James and Jesse played in the pool at Comfort Inn every day. I got to spend one evening with them at the pool and captured many pictures of them playing. James jumping off the side of the pool would have given me heart palpitations just last October. He has come so far with his swimming lessons. He's a fish in the water. Jesse needs a new bathing suit cause well her girly parts play peek-a-boo sometimes and it gives me the heebie jeebies. I can't even put her in a bikini or tankini in good conscience. She may be relegated to boy shorts and rash guard shirts for the next decade. :D Jon. What can I say? He needs new swim shorts too. I believe those are 9 years old.
